PERSPOLIS

Persepolis was Persia’s’ ancient capital of the second Iranian dynasty. It used to be known as Parsa. In contemporary Iran the capital sight is known as Takht- Jamshid.

   UNICCO declared the citadel of Persepolis a world heritage.
